Hollywood was treated to a rare performance
one night late in November when THE BEACH BOYS
appeared together for the first time in four
years. The show, which included such Beach Boys
standards as "Surfer Girl,", "Sloop John B,"
"Good Vibrations," etc., also featured many of
their songs from their current Warner Bros. Album,
"Sunflower." Seen in the audience opening night
at the famed Whisky A-Go-Go, were PHIL EVERLY,
HERB ALPERT, BOBBY VEE, DEL SHANNON, BRIAN HYLAND
and special surprise guest PAUL McCARTNEY, plus DINO
MARTIN JR., DESI ARNAZ JR., OLIVIA HUSSEY, THE
BUGALOOS, RICK NELSON and his wife Kris, and
NEIL YOUNG.
